Gwen was born on August 9, 1990 Gwen is the first-born of my CH Shalimar's Imperator (Perry) . She became an AKC Champion on June 14, 1992 with 3 Major wins. In addition to Gwen's championship, her littermates were also winners. While Gwen's dam, B-Sky's Mystic
Sara was never a show dog, she produced 9 champions from 3 litters, 7 sired by
Perry and 2 sired by his older brother, the top-winning CH Shalimar's In
Command. |
While she loved her babies,
Gwen was just not the best of moms (she wanted to cuddle but was quick to turn
them over to me if they started crying). So Gwen was spayed after Dustin was
born, and has been by my side since. She derives great pleasure being the top
dog, sleeping and watching over her great-grandchildren. Gwen is OFA "Good" and while she
now has age-related cataracts, she was certified "normal" at 8 years old in
1998. |
